Ølstykke Svømmehal

Ølstykke Svømmehal is the municipal swimming pool of Egedal on Stadionvej, with a 25-metre pool with 1- and 3-metre boards, a large shallow pool for play and water confidence, and a 32.5-degree warm-water pool with a bubble bench and massage jets. On the wellness side there are traditional saunas in both the women's and the men's changing rooms, an infrared sauna and a steam bath with aromatherapy. The hall also has a fitness room and Aquapunkt training in the water.

Sauna gus with us is held in the swimming hall's traditional sauna, where the gus master mixes essential oils into the water, pours it over the hot stones and fans the steam around the room. A session consists of two rounds of 8-12 minutes with a ten-minute break in between. We call it wellness for body and soul – deeper relaxation, better circulation and a proper cleanse. Remember to drink plenty of water both before and after the gus, and bring an extra towel to sit on in the sauna. If you want to stay in the heat afterwards, the hall also has an infrared sauna and a steam bath with aromatherapy.
