Alsik Spa

Alsik Spa is the spa at Alsik Hotel & Spa on the waterfront in Sønderborg, overlooking Alssund. It has two separate areas: Alsik Spa Pool on the ground floor with an indoor pool, hot tub, steam bath, Panorama Sauna and two heated saltwater infinity pools on the terrace outside, and Alsik Nordisk Spa on the first floor for adults with a herbal sauna, Mystic Dome Sauna, two steam baths, an ice room with an ice fountain and a lounge with infrared chairs. Nordisk Spa is an add-on to the entry, and in the snack bar fruit, nuts, tea and coffee are free to enjoy.

Sauna sessions at Alsik Spa are part of the entry to Alsik Spa Pool: on Fridays our sauna hosts hold rounds of about a quarter of an hour with room for up to 30 in the sauna, and no sign-up is needed. Each round has its own theme carried by music and scents, and the session is intense but balanced, leaving room to sink into it along the way. For Vintergus we open the whole spa for the year's biggest sauna session day with tickets, where sauna hosts from all over Denmark hold sessions in several saunas and herbal scrub rituals in the steam baths. Sessions are always in swimwear, and you sit on a towel in the sauna. Rinse body and hair afterwards, and take your towel and glass back out with you.
