Terms of use for GoSauna
Version 1.0. The Danish text is the governing version — see clause 12.
1. Who we are
GoSauna is run by Anders Andersen, Bregnevej 19, 2820 Gentofte, Denmark. You are always welcome to write to [email protected].
2. What GoSauna is — and is not
GoSauna is a guide to sauna gus in Denmark. We collect information from the venues' own pages and booking systems, and venues can keep their own information up to date with us.
We do not run gus, we do not sell tickets, and we are not a party to the agreement you enter into with a venue. Booking, payment, cancellation and refunds are solely between you and the venue, on the venue's own terms.
3. The information may be wrong
Times, prices, available spots, hosts and descriptions come from the venues — collected automatically or entered by the venue itself. We do our best to keep it up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is correct or complete. The venue's own booking always prevails. Check the time and price with the venue before you turn up.
4. You take part at your own risk
A sauna gus is a physical activity involving high heat and often cold water. You take part at your own risk. If you are in doubt whether you can handle heat and cold, talk to your doctor first, and always follow the instructions of the venue and the host. GoSauna has no influence on how a gus is run and is not liable for injury or loss in that connection.
5. Our liability
GoSauna is provided as it is. We cannot guarantee that the service is always available or free of errors, and we may change or shut down parts of it.
We are not liable for loss caused by incorrect or missing information, by cancelled or changed gus, or by downtime and disruptions — including wasted travel, lost profit and other indirect loss.
We do not disclaim liability that cannot be disclaimed under Danish law, including liability for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury caused by us.
6. Your account
The account is personal. You create it with your own email address and give your real name. You are responsible for what happens through your account and for the messages you ask for. You can delete your account and all your data from your profile at any time.
7. What you write
A review must be based on your own experience and be your own words. Unlawful, offensive, misleading or promotional content must not be posted. We may remove content and close an account that does not comply. You keep the copyright to what you write and give us the right to show it on GoSauna.
8. If you are a venue
If you edit a venue with us, you warrant that the information is correct, that you are entitled to act on behalf of the venue, and that you hold the rights to the images and texts you upload. You are responsible for the gus you create yourself, including that they are held as described. We may remove information or access if that is not the case.
9. Booking referrals
GoSauna may receive payment or commission from a venue, including when someone finds or books a gus through us. It does not affect the price you pay.
10. Personal data
How we process your information is set out in our privacy policy.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. The version in force is always shown on this page with its version number and date. We store which version you accepted, and when.
12. Language and governing law
These terms exist in Danish and English. The Danish text is the governing one; the English is a translation provided to help international guests. Danish law applies.
