Sauna session in Roskilde

Roskilde has two sauna venues, and they are each other's opposite: the town's public baths and a small sauna with regular Tuesday sessions.

Roskilde Badet holds its sessions in the shared sauna of the wellness area, where the sauna host pours water and essential oils onto the hot stones and spreads the heat and scents with a towel, so you both feel and smell the blends while circulation rises and the body settles. A session lasts half an hour, and they are held in the morning, the afternoon and the evening. Alongside the regular sessions the baths run women-only and men-only sessions with a salt scrub. Between the rounds you cool down under the cold showers. The sessions are for participants aged 16 and over, and there is free parking at the baths.

RenRo Sauna holds Tuesday sessions in Roskilde: four rounds in the classic style with carefully chosen scents and pleasant heat, in smaller and cosier surroundings than the baths' large sessions. The point here is the atmosphere - let your shoulders drop, find calm and recharge. If you want a session at a particular time or for one gender only, Roskilde Badet is the right choice; if you want the calm Tuesday session, it is RenRo Sauna.
