Arena Aabenraa

Arena Aabenraa is Aabenraa's large sports and swimming centre on Hjelmallé, with a swimming pool, leisure pool, whirlpool, gym, padel and badminton. Sauna gus is held in the swimming hall's sauna, where the sauna host pours water with essential oils onto the red-hot stones and swings the towel to spread scent and heat around the room. The oils are chosen by season, theme or requests from the audience - mint, lavender, rose, spruce or citrus. The centre hands out 25-30 wristbands about ten minutes before each session, and every sauna host runs their session in their own way.
