Bjerringbro Idrætscenter

Bjerringbro Idræts- & Kulturcenter on Vestre Ringvej has a sauna and spa area next to the swimming pool, built around a large sauna that holds 80 people. There is also a hot tub, a steam bath and an ice bath, and tickets are bought in the café at the entrance to the centre. The building also houses sports halls, padel, fitness, a café and accommodation.

Sauna gus in Bjerringbro is a guided experience where the house gus masters use essential oils, towels and heat to create an atmosphere that wakes the senses. The sauna is so large that the daily sessions need no booking – you simply turn up and join as many gus as you like. The gus masters keep taking courses and further training and bring new techniques and scents into the sauna. Alongside the regular programme the centre holds special evenings where sauna gus is combined with an ice bath, spa and refreshments, and those are the ones you buy a ticket for here. Kurbadsaften offers four gus, a steam bath treatment and light snacks, while Sauna Night is a larger evening with visiting gus masters.
