JOYU Community

JOYU Community is on Fredensgade in the heart of Viborg and is a community built around sauna gus, ice bathing, yoga and mindfulness. The sessions take place in the house's own sauna at around 85 degrees and a humidity of zero to ten percent, drawing on the southern German tradition where "aufguss" means pouring onto the stove. The scents of the essential oils change from one time to the next, so the effect varies - from relaxation and calm to cleansing and invigoration. The house makes a point of using only essential oils of high purity.
