Sauna session in Silkeborg

Silkeborg has one sauna venue, and it sits out by the lakes rather than in town.

La Sauna Silkeborg is based on Vejlsøvej at Ly Outdoor Camp, where the sauna is wood-fired and seats 17 guests. A sauna session lasts 75 minutes with three rounds of 10-15 minutes and a cool-down break in between, and the experience alternates between intense heat, cooling off and quiet pauses. Professional sauna hosts blend pure essential oils into the water, pour it over the hot stones and spread the steam with a fan while the music carries the session. Now and then there is a morning session together with the coffee bar MOMO, with coffee and a bun waiting afterwards. Arrive 10-15 minutes early, and bring a water bottle, two towels, swimwear and sandals - sitting on a towel in the sauna is required.
