Vinterbadeklubben VISKI

VISKI is the winter bathing club of Skive, based at Strandtangen by Skive marina. The club's sauna was inaugurated in the autumn of 2020 and has 40 seats and a view out over Skive Fjord. From the bathing jetty at the end of the pier you step straight into the fjord, where the water quickly gets deep and the bottom is good. By the clubhouse there are changing rooms and outdoor showers - one with hot water by the clubhouse and one with cold water by the sauna building.

Sauna sessions at VISKI are held in the club's large sauna facing Skive Fjord, and between rounds you dip in the fjord from the bathing jetty. An ordinary session lasts about 70 minutes and usually consists of three rounds of 10-15 minutes with a cold plunge in between; it is held mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the club's several trained sauna hosts take turns running it. Through the season the special sessions come on top - morning and after-work sessions, hot yoga sessions, gong sessions, tapping sessions and a wine-tasting session together with Havnens Vinotek. Sign-up is binding, and you can only hold one ordinary session and one special session at a time. Bring water in a bottle for the sauna, and drink plenty beforehand.
