Water & Wellness Randers

Water & Wellness Randers is a large swimming and wellness centre on Viborgvej north of Randers, where the wellness section sits on its own with four saunas and a textile steam bath. You can choose between the Relax sauna at around 60 degrees, the All Sense sauna at 55-60 degrees with coloured light and changing scents, the traditional sauna session room in the sauna garden at around 80 degrees, and the Nordic mood sauna at around 70 degrees - the steam bath holds about 45 degrees. Between rounds there is a warm-water pool, an indoor cold tub, an unheated outdoor pool that follows the season, and a lounge café. The wellness section is for guests aged 18 and over, and the ticket gives access all day - including the water park.

Our sauna sessions are drop-in: they come with the wellness ticket, so there is nothing to book - you simply turn up at the sauna. The sauna hosts run a session every hour throughout the day and move between the saunas, so you can experience both the large traditional sauna in the sauna garden and the milder saunas indoors. Every session has gentle music and three different scents, so no two are quite alike. After the heat you can plunge into the indoor cold tub or the unheated outdoor pool that follows the season, and settle afterwards in the warm-water pool or the lounge café. Bring a towel to sit on - and note that the wellness section is for guests aged 18 and over.
