Show on mapAvedøre Idrætscenter lies in Avedøre Stationsby in Hvidovre and has been the gathering point for the district's sporting life since 1983. The swimming area holds a 25-metre pool, a paddling pool, a baby pool, a spa, a steam cabin and saunas, and under the same roof are a gym, a ball hall, a gymnastics hall and a large, light foyer. The centre has its own café, and it is only a few minutes' walk from Avedøre Station, with bus route 1A stopping right outside.
