Aalborg Heat

Aalborg Heat sits at Østre Havn in Aalborg, right next to the cable park, with saunas and hot tubs along the quay. The large sauna has a big glass front with a panoramic view across the water and room for 18, and alongside it are barrel saunas for six people and four hot tubs with salt water heated to as much as 40 degrees. For cooling down there is a cold plunge tub, and you can take a quick dip in the harbour basin at Østre Havn. On site there are heated changing huts, showers, boxes for your belongings and a bar.

Sauna gus at Aalborg Heat takes place at Østre Havn next to the cable park, in the large sauna with its glass front facing the water and in the smaller barrel saunas - together up to 36 places per session. The programme alternates between regular formats: morning gus, Gus & Gys where the whole site is open and the house gus masters run different sessions across the saunas, Heat'n Social Run with a 5 km run followed by two gus rounds, and family gus at children's level for children aged 5 to 12 accompanied by an adult. Between the rounds you cool off in the cold plunge tub or take a dip in the fjord, and snacks are included in the price. You bring your own towel for a gus, and we recommend arriving a quarter of an hour early so there is time to check in.
