Bjergbakkegaard-Gus

Bjergbakkegaard-Gus is a private sauna venue on Fodbygade in Fodby, just outside Næstved, started in 2025. The sauna comes with indoor changing rooms for women and men, toilets, an outdoor shower, a cold water tub and an ice tub, and outside there is a yard with a fire pit. The venue also has yoga mats, blankets and cushions, so a gus can be combined with meditation and a sound bath. There is a zero-alcohol policy, and you take part at your own risk.

Sauna gus at Bjergbakkegaard-Gus takes place in private surroundings with indoor changing rooms, a cold shower, a cold water tub and an ice tub for cooling down between rounds. The regular gus lasts an hour and a half and consists of three rounds with calm music and essential oils; in the breaks there is water, electrolyte drinks, fruit and snacks. Alongside it we hold two longer themed evenings: Full Moon Meditation and Gus, where we gather around the fire afterwards for drumming and sharing, and Gus and Gong, where after the gus you lie down in the hall and let the sound of the gong settle. Bring swimwear, two large towels, sandals and ideally a robe and a sauna hat - and try to eat about an hour beforehand.
