Sauna session in Frederikshavn

Frederikshavn has one sauna venue, and it is the town's municipal swimming pool with a whole Relax section around the sauna.

Frederikshavn Svømmehal sits on Parallelvej with four pools, a gym area and the Relax section, where you find the wilderness sauna in alder wood with a cold plunge tub and wellness shower right outside the door, a volcanic steam bath at around 45 degrees with room for about 20 people, a sauna with a starlit ceiling and an infrared Full Spectrum sauna. The sessions take place in the wilderness sauna, where the sauna host pours water with essential oils onto the stove and spreads the heat with a towel while music plays. Besides the single sessions, the hall holds Relax evenings with series sessions, where three are given over the course of the evening with the emphasis on calm and wellbeing, and a monthly wellness evening where the whole building slows down. You take part with a session ticket added to your entrance ticket, and seats in the sauna are first come, first served. The entrance ticket covers the pools, the gym, the saunas and the steam bath with no time limit, and Café Hyggestunden is on site. The Relax area is mainly for adults, and swimwear is required throughout.
