Låsby Svømmebad is a volunteer-run open-air swimming bath in Låsby, where the town has had a bath since 1933. The sauna seats around 20 people and sits right next to an unheated winter bathing pool of 6 by 8 metres, kept open throughout the winter season. In summer the large outdoor pool is open, and the bath's kiosk sells food and drink. During the winter season they alternate between a silent sauna, where conversation is left outside, and a regular sauna where quiet talk is welcome.
Sauna sessions with us
Sauna gus at Låsby Svømmebad takes place in the bath's own sauna, which seats around 20 people, with a shower and the winter bathing pool right outside for cooling off between rounds. The programme alternates between two versions: the classic one-hour gus, where the bath's own volunteer gus masters run two rounds of 12-15 minutes with a break in between, and the longer two-hour gus with the gus masters from NORDGUS, whom the bath has worked with since 2022. Bring your own towel, water bottle and ideally footwear for the walk outdoors; doors open a quarter of an hour before. If too few tickets are sold, a gus may be cancelled and the payment refunded.
