Lubker Golf Resort

Lübker Square is the wellness wing of Lübker Golf & Spa Resort near Nimtofte on Djursland. The spa spans two floors: the Spa Grotto on the first floor with a bubble pool, steam bath, water rituals and self-care, and on the second floor the sauna lounge with a Finnish sauna and a large roof terrace where warm wilderness tubs, a cold-water tub and cold-water cascades stand under the open sky. Under the same roof you will also find the Subtropical Bath, a fitness centre and a café serving hot and cold drinks. The facilities are built on age-old Finnish spa and health principles.

Saunagus at Lübker takes place in the sauna in Lübker Square, where the gus master pours essential oils onto the hot stones and fans the heat and scent around the room with a towel or a fan. The classic session lasts about ten to fifteen minutes and is enjoyed as part of your spa entry; places are limited and go first come, first served, so it is worth reserving one when you book online. Alongside it runs the course Saunagus & Subtropisk Bad, where a whole evening is set aside for gus and bathing, and through the year we invite you to special gus events – among them saunagus under the full moon, where music and essential oils guide you through the phases of the moon. After the heat you cool down under the cold shower, in the cold-water tub or out on the roof terrace between the warm wilderness tubs. Remember to drink plenty of water before, during and after the session, and step out of the sauna if you feel unwell.
