Momentet Lystrup Svømme og Aktivitetscenter

Momentet Lystrup Svømme og Aktivitetscenter is the swimming centre in Lystrup north of Aarhus, run by the Lystrup IF swimming club. Besides the municipal 25-metre pool, the building holds a warm-water pool, a sensory pool, a spa bath and two saunas with distinct characters: a wellness sauna with two salt-stone walls and coloured LED light, and a wilderness sauna with beams in the ceiling and a door out to a wooden terrace where you can shower outdoors. Sauna gus is held as separate gus evenings on selected Thursdays.

A gus at Momentet is a full gus evening across both of the centre's saunas: the wellness sauna with its salt-stone walls and coloured LED light, and the wilderness sauna with beams in the ceiling and a door out to the wooden terrace, where you can shower outdoors or sit by the fire pit when the weather allows. Two gus masters each run four sessions, and when you sign up you pick the three you want to join - if there is room on the night, you can take the fourth as well. Every evening has its own theme, and the gus master chooses the essential oils, the music and the story to match. Between rounds you have free access to the warm-water pool, the spa bath and the cold-water bucket, and fresh fruit, nuts, iced water and something sweet are laid out. You check in at the front desk and get a wristband for the changing room and a locker - remember swimwear, a towel and ideally a bathrobe for the terrace.
