Sauna session in Næstved

Sauna sessions in Næstved take place partly at a private farm just outside town and partly in the town's swimming hall.

Bjergbakkegaard-Gus is a private sauna venue on Fodbygade in Fodby just outside town, started in 2025. The regular session lasts an hour and a half and consists of three rounds with calm music and essential oils, and during the breaks there's water, electrolyte juice, fruit and snacks, with a cold-water tub and an ice tub for cooling down. Alongside the regular session, two longer themed evenings are held: Fuldmånemeditation og gus, where you gather round the bonfire afterwards for drumming and sharing, and Gus og Gong, where you lie down in the hall afterwards and let the sound of the gong land. There's a zero-alcohol policy, and you bring your own swimwear, two large towels, sandals and ideally a bathrobe and sauna hat.
