Nordic Wave

Nordic Wave in Sønderborg is a wellness venue that unites modern science with ancient traditions. It offers saunagus, cold therapy and ice baths, breathing sessions as well as yoga and hot yoga, and also runs a sauna-master course.

Sauna gus at Nordic Wave in Sønderborg takes place in the sauna on Vølundsgade, where a gus lasts 90 minutes and consists of three guided rounds with essential oils and music. What sets it apart is that every gus has its own theme: Klassisk Gus as the base format, Morgendis with citrus and freshness, Skovens Hvisken with green and deep woody notes, and on through Nordisk Aften, Nordlys, Shamanens Drøm and a scrub ritual for the skin. The themes follow the seasons, so December brings an advent gus. Between the rounds you step out into the cool air, and if you want the full contrast you can add an ice bath.
