Ribe Svømmebad

Ribe Svømmebad is located on Seminarievej in Ribe and is run by Ribe Fritidscenter. The wellness area holds a classic dry sauna, a 38-degree spa pool, a cold-water pool for cooling down and a 33.5-degree warm-water pool. The area is a phone-free zone, and besides the pool's normal opening hours there are extended hours with access to the wellness area only. There is a cafeteria in the building.

Sauna gus in Ribe takes place in the dry sauna of the wellness area, where the gus master works with changing scents and music that set the mood. A session is one round of 12-15 minutes, so you can take a single one or several in a row and cool off in the cold-water pool or relax in the spa in between. Gus runs several times a week, both in the evening and in the morning, and the sauna is closed and cleared ten minutes before a session starts – so book your place in advance or you risk arriving to a full sauna. Alongside the weekly sessions the venue holds events with several rounds that go deeper. Bring a large towel for the sauna.
