Rønne Svømmehal

Rønne Svømmehal sits on Højvangen in Rønne and is deeply rooted in Bornholm's club life. The pool hall has a 25-metre pool with six lanes, a diving pool with 1, 3 and 5-metre boards and a warm children's pool, and there are saunas in both the men's and the women's changing rooms. The cafeteria looks out over the pools, and a small kiosk sells snacks and drinks. Because the hall is also used for school swimming and clubs, public opening hours are limited, but there is time for lap swimming and play every day.

Sauna gus at Rønne Svømmehal runs through the winter half of the year, and sessions are split into men's and women's gus because the saunas sit in separate changing rooms. The gus master pours pure essential oils onto the hot stones and spreads scent and heat with the towel; the hall has six different gus in its repertoire, so the effect shifts from calm and relaxation to circulation and renewed energy. A session is scheduled for an hour, and you can swim both before and after. Gus is for adults aged 18 and over, and places are booked in advance. You can also rent the sauna and have one of the house gus masters run a private session.
