Sauna session in Thisted

Thisted has one sauna venue, the town's large sports and swimming centre, Thyhallen.

Thyhallen brings fitness, a swimming pool and a health centre together under one roof, and in the swimming centre you'll find a regular sauna, an infrared sauna and a steam bath, with a terrace and a small pool right outside. The regular sauna session is included in the entry fee and runs several fixed times a week, typically mornings and afternoons on weekdays and at weekends - though only once at least six guests have shown up. The sauna host pours water with fragrant aromas onto the hot stones, and a regular session is two rounds of seven minutes with a short break in between. Alongside the free session, the venue also runs a paid luxury session of about an hour and a half with several rounds, changing scents and moods, and short breaks with refreshments - this one requires advance booking. You must be at least 15 to take part, and there's a maximum of one session per guest per day.
