Vandhuset Park Vendia

Vandhuset is the municipal swimming pool of Hjørring, set in the Park Vendia sports area, built in 2008 and spread over 3,400 square metres with three pools. The wellness area is a separate room behind large glass panels, reserved for guests over 16, with a 35-degree warm pool, four water massage benches, three massage jets, two heated benches, a bio sauna and a mosaic steam bath with colour and scent experiences. The building also holds a 50-metre pool with eight lanes and a fun area with a baby pool, a warm-water pool and a 60-metre water slide. In the Vandhuset café you can eat both in the café area and right by the water.

For a gus evening we have the wellness area entirely to ourselves, with room for 40 participants, so we can keep the calm and the closeness. An evening consists of at least two gus sessions, and along the way there are snacks and cool refreshments while you rest by the warm pool or on one of the water massage benches. Our sauna hosts alternate between several kinds of experience: Stillegus is a quiet, meditative flow where the heat and the essential scents slowly wrap around you, while High Energy-gus combines powerful scents, high-energy music and vigorous towel swings. The wellness area is for adults over 16 only, and the gus ticket comes on top of the entrance fee to Vandhuset, so remember to sign up before you come.
