Sauna sessions in Nordjylland

North Jutland (Nordjylland) has sauna sessions from the North Sea to the Kattegat, ranging from a sauna hut right on the beach to large water and culture centres.

In Aalborg you find Haraldslund Vand og Kulturhus with sessions as aromatherapy and longer themed sessions, Thimms with heat and cold under the Restore concept, Aalborg Heat on Østre Havn by the cable park, and Saunahytten Aalborg Sejlklub by the sailing club. Across the fjord, Skansen Bad & Wellness in Nørresundby has two outdoor saunas and a cold tub.

On the North Sea, Saunahytten Blokhus Strand stands right on the beach with a panorama window facing the sea, and the session is built as sauna and North Sea dip in one. In Vendsyssel, Frederikshavn Svømmehal has a whole relax area with a wilderness sauna, Vandhuset Park Vendia in Hjørring holds session evenings with room for 40, and Brønderslev Svømmehal has a sauna hut on the terrace outside the pool.

To the west lies Thy. Thyhallen in Thisted includes sessions in the entry several times a week, and near Snedsted, Thy Race Sauna has room for 24 and a sauna garden with cold tubs. In Himmerland, HimmerLand Resort in Farsø holds separate session evenings in its spa, and in Hobro, Hobro Vinterbadeklub is based.

If you want the sea between rounds, it is Blokhus. If you want the most times to choose from, it is Aalborg and Frederikshavn.
