Sauna sessions in Trekantområdet

Trekantområdet, the Triangle Region, is the seven municipalities around the Little Belt and Vejle Fjord, and here sauna sessions take place on the harbours, in the big sports centres and in private gardens.

Kolding has three venues: Sauna Haus Kolding on Nordkajen with two saunas, a Lotus Belle tent and its own banya sauna for herbal sessions, UNI10 SaunaGus in an activity centre, and Slotssøbadet, the town's pool, where the session is an add-on to the ticket.

In Fredericia, SaltogSauna sits at Fredericia Marina with cold sea dips in the Little Belt and a phone-free sauna, while Fredericia Idrætscenter holds sessions in its pool. Across the bridge, Hindsgavl Slot has a sauna on Fænøsund and Strib Svømmehal runs separate sessions for women and men.

Vejle has DGI Huset Vejle with a shared sauna and a regular team of sauna hosts, and near Give, Villa Vindblad holds both Friday sessions and ceremonies such as a full-moon ceremony and Gustjenesten. To the southwest, Vejen Idrætscenter holds sessions in both the pool's and the spa's saunas, and Rødding Centret gathers its sessions around the quiet evening.

In Haderslev both venues are small and personal: Haderslev Vinterbadeklub by the fjord and Den Gamle Have, sauna host Gitte Minck's own garden with a wooden sauna and a cold tub.

If you want the sea close by, choose Kolding, Fredericia or Middelfart. If you want many fixed times, the big centres in Vejle and Vejen are the place.
