Herbal sauna session

Herbal gus uses fresh and dried herbs alongside the essential oils. The herbs go into the water, onto the stones or into a pouch, and the scent turns rounder and more earthy than pure oils. Some venues also use whisks. Just Sauna runs HERBAL as a fixed part of the programme in both Copenhagen and Frederikssund, Sauna House Nordhavn holds its Herbal ritual gus, and at Rört the format stretches into a two-hour herbal immersion. It is a good way in if you find sharp citrus scents too much in the heat.
