Aarhus Svømmestadion

Aarhus Svømmestadion is located on F. Vestergaards Gade in central Aarhus. The indoor pool is 50 metres long, two metres deep and kept at 26 degrees, and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays it is divided in two for short-course swimming. Next to the outdoor pool is an outdoor sauna, and this is where the venue's saunagus takes place – the sauna is closed to other guests while a session is running. You need a padlock for the lockers in the changing rooms; one can also be bought at the ticket counter.

Saunagus at Aarhus Svømmestadion takes place in the outdoor sauna by the pool, and the sauna is closed to other guests while a session is running. The programme has three regular versions: evening gus on weekdays with a single round of about fifteen minutes, Friday gus with three atmospheric rounds in a row and access to the indoor pool in between, and a gus marathon of six ten-minute rounds with snacks and cold drinks along the way. Now and then we invite you to a Social Run, where a five-kilometre group run ends in the sauna. There is room for 15 at a time, so the gus master can guide the group calmly through the experience. Bring a padlock for your locker – and flip-flops are welcome.
