Sauna session in Brabrand

Brabrand has one sauna venue: Gellerupbadet on Karen Blixens Boulevard west of Aarhus, run by Sport & Fritid in Aarhus municipality.

Sauna sessions take place in the shared sauna, which sits inside the pool hall itself and is used in swimwear. The sauna holds 90 degrees, and a cold-water shower stands right outside the door for cooling off between rounds. The session runs on Saturdays alongside adult swimming and lasts around a quarter of an hour, focused on calm, heat and wellbeing. There are only ten spots per session, so it pays to book from home or at the ticket office - the session is an add-on to the regular pool ticket. Bring a padlock for the changing-room locker; it can also be bought at the ticket booth. The sauna is closed in June, July and August.
