Sjællandsgade Bad is a historic public bathhouse from 1917 in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, today run by an association powered by volunteers. The saunagus sessions last one hour and consist of three gus rounds with essential oils, where the gus masters guide participants using towel, fan or pure scents – with breaks along the way for refreshments and a cool-down in cold-water tubs and showers. 17 tickets are sold per session. During regular opening hours the bathhouse also offers showers, bathtubs and sauna, and swimwear is optional.
Sauna sessions with us
Sauna gus at Sjællandsgade Bad takes place in the historic bathhouse from 1917 in Nørrebro, run today by an association of volunteers. A session lasts an hour with three gus rounds, where the gus masters guide with towel, fan and pure essential oils, and the breaks are spent on a refreshment and cooling down in cold-water tubs and showers. There are sessions for all genders and separate sessions for women and for men. Now and then we put the music centre stage with an electronic gus, a metal gus or a Latin gus. Only 17 tickets are sold per session, so book in advance.
