Sauna session in Skodsborg

Skodsborg has one sauna venue, and it's a spa hotel that has worked with water and heat since 1898.

Kurhotel Skodsborg sits between the forest and the Øresund strait on Skodsborg Strandvej, and the hotel's award-winning spa offers 16 bathing experiences. From the beach right below the hotel there's a sea dip in the Sound all year round. The programme has two fixed formats: Saunagus for hotel guests, an hour with two rounds in the spa, and Saunagus Event, where five-time Danish champion Henrik Baunkjær takes guests through three sessions over ninety minutes with music, lighting and advanced towel techniques. The themes range from calm and mindfulness to high intensity and power, and only pure essential oils are used. Between rounds you can cool off in the Sound and relax in the lounge with both cold and warm drinks.
