Sauna session in Svendborg

Svendborg has one sauna venue, and it sits right on the harbour, with the cold shock as the way to cool down instead of a pool.

Ø Sauna is on Østre Havnevej next to Kammerateriet and seats 16 guests. A session lasts 75 minutes and consists of three 12-minute rounds in the hot sauna, where the sauna host spreads heat and scent from carefully chosen essential oils to pleasant music. In the breaks between rounds you take the cold shock in one of the venue's cold tubs. There's a small team of sauna hosts who rotate, so the scents and mood vary from one time to the next. The changing room is small and there's no toilet, so arrive in good time - the harbour just outside makes it a short trip from town.
