Sauna session in Taastrup

Taastrup has two sauna venues: the town's municipal swimming pool and a private sauna venue with a cold plunge.

Taastrup Svømmehal on Parkvej is run by the sports team of Høje-Taastrup Municipality together with Fløng Svømmehal, and it has pools for both play and exercise, a sauna, an infrared sauna and a massage chair, plus free parking. The session is a warm experience where the sauna host treats the group to aromatic scents poured over the stones - together with the hot steam it becomes a wellness experience of its own. It lasts roughly 12-20 minutes and takes place in a shared sauna for both men and women, so swimwear is required. There must be at least three participants and there is room for twelve, so book your place in advance; any free spots can be bought at the ticket desk. You also need a valid entry ticket for the pool to take part, and multi-trip cards for the sessions and the infrared sauna can be bought online.

Saunagus hos Heidi & René is the town's other option, and here a cold plunge belongs to the cooling down.
