Temple Sea Bath

Temple Sea Bath is a bathhouse on Bellevue Beach near Klampenborg, set in Arne Jacobsen's former men's changing house from 1932, with a bathing pier and views across the Øresund. The house has two saunas – a conversation sauna and a quiet sauna, both able to switch between Finnish and infrared heat – plus year-round sea bathing, a yoga hall, treatments and a café. Saunagus takes place several times a week, and the open saunagus events are also for guests and non-members.

Sauna gus at Temple Sea Bath takes place in the bathhouse on Bellevue Beach, set in Arne Jacobsen's former men's changing house from 1932, with the sea bath at the end of the pier. The gus comes in two lengths: a short 45-minute session with two rounds and a sea dip in between, and a 90-minute gus event with three rounds – both open to guests and non-members. At the longer events we serve a ginger shot, fruit, nuts and herbal tea. If you are new to cold water you can start on the beginners' session, where an experienced winter bather goes through equipment, safety and breathing first. Bring a large towel, and shower or dip in the sea beforehand.
