Waterdrops Kerteminde

Waterdrops is an association on Nordstranden beach in Kerteminde that brings together winter bathing, sea swimming, kayaking, SUP and sauna. The two saunas have panoramic views over Kerteminde Bay - the outdoor one seats 8 and the indoor one 18 - and a boardwalk leads from the saunas down to the association's own bathing jetty. A classic sauna session lasts around 75 minutes and consists of three rounds with three scents in each, nine essential oils in all, while the short version is two rounds of about 45 minutes. Between the rounds there is a five to ten minute break for a dip in the sea, a shower or fresh air, and the sauna host usually brings along some snacks.
