Sauna session in Haderslev

Haderslev has two sauna venues, both small and personal: a winter-bathing club by the fjord and a private garden in the middle of town.

Haderslev Vinterbadeklub is based in Det Blå Forenings Hus by Haderslev Fjord. The sauna faces the water through large windows, and outdoor tubs for cold dips are right outside the door. The club is run by volunteers, and guests can book the sauna session events the club holds; the regular sauna opening hours are for members, and there is a minimum age of 15.

Den Gamle Have is sauna host Gitte Minck's own garden, with a wooden sauna and a cold-water tub. The garden is surrounded by tall hedges, so it feels private, and there is room for about a dozen participants at a time. Gitte is also a sauna host at the winter-bathing club, so the two venues share a host but not a setting: fjord views and club atmosphere by the harbour, or a small, close evening in a garden.
