Sauna session in Havdrup

Havdrup has two sauna venues, and both have a real wood-burning stove - but they differ widely in size.

Poppelly Wellness holds its sessions in a sauna with a real wood stove that creates an authentic, cosy atmosphere, seating 20 guests with an ice bath and cold showers outside. The regular session lasts an hour and a half, and the oils are chosen for whether the rounds should energise or purely relax. Alongside it runs a broad programme of themed sessions: Det Femte Element through earth, air, fire and water, a chakra session over eight rounds, a viking session with drums and breathwork, and electronic evenings with sound and bass. There is also a children's session for ages 6-15 with lower heat and shorter rounds, and snacks and free parking belong to the visit.

Sundhed og Fokus is based in a small oasis in Ørsted near Havdrup, with a view over the fields and a real wood stove that gives just the right heat. The groups are small with eight places, and a session lasts an hour and a half with an ice bath between the rounds. Only pure essential oils are used, and the regular sessions alternate between one with guided meditation and Luk dagen, where the pace slows right down before the evening begins. Now and then there are children's sessions and evenings with guest hosts. Tea, water and light snacks are served along the way, and there is free parking at the door.
