Sauna Haus Kolding

Sauna Haus Kolding sits on Nordkajen by the harbour in Kolding, where two saunas and a large Lotus Belle tent set the scene for sauna gus with a view of the water. Behind it are sauna master Gitte Minck, Banya master Sarah Kjærgaard Andersen and gus master Nick Nielsen, who together draw on Nordic, Eastern European and South American sauna traditions. Cold water and snacks are served between rounds, and you can warm your hands around a cup in the calm corner of the Lotus tent before and after your session.

Sauna gus at Sauna Haus Kolding alternates between several regular formats: Classic Modern Saunagus with three rounds of heat, essential oils and calm, the single-gender evenings Queens Only and Kings Only, and Sauna Soul, where Nordic and South American rituals meet shamanic traditions across four sessions with a cold plunge between each. The house's own Banya sauna also hosts Herbal sessions with fresh herbs, birch whisks and incense for a more sensory experience. Cold water and snacks are served between rounds, and you can retreat to the Lotus Belle tent. Bring your own towels and a water bottle - a bathrobe for the breaks is welcome too - and arrive in good time before we begin.
