Sauna sessions in Amager

Amager is the island with sauna sessions close to the city, the airport and the Sound, and it covers Amager in Copenhagen, Kastrup in Tårnby and Dragør.

On Amager in Copenhagen, Inipi Amagerstrand sits on the beach with the Sound right outside the sweat lodges, and Plugin Heat Club AMAGER runs the formats DEEP, PEAK and CLUB and guides in English by default. Sauna85 Amager is in a garden away from the noise, Hitaya SaunaGus is based by Slusen, KYND Ørestad in Fælledby has small groups, and Amager Centret holds occasional session evenings in its courtyard.

Kastrup has four venues close to each other and to the airport. Heat N Health Club is a sauna community with a round sauna and cold tubs, Sauna Sport mixes heat, cold and movement, and you can use the gym in the hour before your session, Bear Heat runs small groups with sessions for both men and women, and Scandic CPH Strandpark holds sauna sessions at the water's edge overlooking the Sound.

In Dragør the two venues are very different: Heat It holds sessions in a wooden sauna with outdoor copper showers and ceremonies such as full-moon sessions and a cacao ceremony, while DAMAI is a sauna and breathwork studio on a raft by Dragør Fort.

If you want the sea right outside the door, choose Inipi Amagerstrand, Scandic CPH Strandpark or DAMAI. If you want ceremony and calm, Heat It.
