Sauna session in Kongens Lyngby

Kongens Lyngby has two sauna venues: a health centre in the woods by the Mølleå stream and the town's public pool in Lyngby Idrætsby.

Innercise Frederiksdal sits in the historic Møllehus surrounded by forest, with the Mølleå stream right outside the door. The session is aromatherapy in the sauna, where the sauna host spreads scent and heat, and every session ends with an optional cold plunge. The venue belongs to a health centre focused on breathwork, sauna sessions and ice bathing, so the breath is part of the experience. Children's sessions and longer sauna rituals are held from time to time.

Lyngby Svømmehal sits in Lyngby Idrætsby on Lundtoftevej, with a 50-metre pool, a diving pool with 1- and 3-metre boards and a diving tower, and a warm baby, children's and therapy pool. The sauna session is held in the pool's traditional sauna, where the host puts on atmospheric music and pours water with essential oils over the hot stones; a session lasts 30 minutes, split into three: ten minutes of heat, a ten-minute break and ten more minutes of heat. The ticket covers only the session itself - you buy pool admission at reception, and no sessions are held in weeks with public holidays. In the middle of the sports complex is Den Blå Café with fresh sandwiches and home-baked rolls.
