Sauna session in Aarhus

Aarhus has sauna venues spread from the harbour and Godsbanen to the city centre and Aarhus N - from a wood-fired sauna for 30 guests to a small sauna dome by the marina.

La Sauna Aarhus takes up to 30 guests with no membership required: a 75-minute session with three sauna rounds, where sauna hosts combine steam heat, aromatherapy and music, with cold-water showers ready between rounds.

Reset Sauna runs its own Sauna Dome by the marina, with different formats - Deep Reset, Feel Reset and Reset Clubbing - built around heat, steam and essential oils.

Sauna85 Volume Village is located at Godsbanen with room for 25 guests, separate changing rooms, cold outdoor showers and lockable cabinets.

SEIER is a training and wellness centre in Pakhusene on Aarhus Ø that runs sauna sessions several times a week through the winter, followed by winter bathing - the sauna host sends steam around the room with rising intensity, and the session ends with a dip in the harbour channel right outside.

HotSpot Sauna is an outdoor sauna oasis at Langdyssen in Aarhus N with a four-degree cold tub, where sauna sessions are paired with yoga, pilates, a running club and cycling, each ending in the sauna.

Aarhus Svømmestadion holds evening sauna sessions in the outdoor sauna by the pool in the city centre.

Badeanstalten Spanien is a bathhouse from 1933 with a neon sign over the street; its wellness section Grossererbadet has a sauna, two steam baths, a sensory bath, a massage pool and a cold-water bucket, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays it's adults-only from age 15 in a phone-free zone.
